ECO TOURS

Experience the unique cultural heritage and extraordinary life forms of the Hawaiian Islands with Hina Adventures’ custom eco tours of Oahu.  For visitors who seek a culturally rich immersion into native Hawaii we offer specialty Oahu tours designed to combine insight with adventure and to promote aloha ‘āina, love and respect for the land.  Our unique itineraries explore both the beautiful islands of the ancient Polynesian navigators and the current cultural revival of Hawaiian communities and offer a refreshing escape to some of the most spectacular scenery in the Islands.

At Hina Adventures, we live by the idea that tourism can have a positive impact on the community it serves.  As a result, we've created several very different types of tour activities, all of which highlight the beauty of Oahu while giving back to the island in a positive way.

For those with specific interests, we also offer some unique tour activities that take you in-depth, and that directly give back to the local community.  We are constantly working with other culture & community groups to create new eco tour activities and expand our offerings.

Please follow the links above to see individual tour descriptions.  We hope you'll find something of interest to you.

Ecotourism Policies

As one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, it is more important than ever to pursue sustainable tourism models in Hawaii.  Hina Adventures strives to provide responsible tour venues by closely working with environmentally-based community organizations and grassroots cultural groups in order to protect and preserve the uniqueness of our islands.  It is our goal to partner with other eco-minded groups not only to create new ecotourism opportunities, but also to help them create their own visitor education programs which in turn benefit our island as a whole.

Hina Adventures donates a percentage of each cultural eco tour to the community caretakers of the sites visited in order to aide in the upkeep and restoration process.  We also offer a service project restoration tour wherein guests may personally contribute to and intimately experience these inspiring sites.
